Midsummer Night's Dream

What:  Arrive early, socialize in line (with previously brought refreshments), grab a good seat at 5:30, eat and drink our pot luck items, drink wine brought from home or sample theirs (5 samples, $25)  Watch play at 7:00.

Info:  bring lots and lots of warm clothes as it can get very cool in the evening by the water.  Hats, gloves etc.  Also a flashlight is nice for finding your car.

Cost:  $40 for Lower Tier Seating

Kayaking and Sunbathing

What:  Rent kayaks and explore coast before wind comes up, lunch on the patio after.  Or, just lie on the beach enjoying the great outdoors.   The restaurant has live music in the afternoon by the outdoor patio.  Come and make a day of it.

When:  10:00 a.m.  Meet in front of the kayak rental place on the pier.

            Join us on the deck for home made pizza at 5:30.   Villa Gigli (Geelee) is only open on Saturdays and Sundays.   Gina's artist's studio is located inside.

            There is a "no-reservation" policy so call Barbara at 775 782 3057 so we can get a big enough table.  If you haven't been there you need to check it out as it is a wonderful place to take out of town guests.  The view of the green valley and trees beyond is charming as are Rugero and his wife Gina.

       We're meeting at Saletti's Restaurant in Minden  on Tuesdays at 5:00.   It is just south of the Carson Valley Inn on the east side of Highway 395.  It is the old Fiona's open under new ownership.    Happy hour prices until 6:00.
